Research
In order to realize a sustainable society, research aimed at solving environmental problems caused by waste and CO2 emissions is becoming increasingly important in the field of organic and polymeric materials. Our laboratory is conducting research into the creation of fiber materials with nano-hierarchical structures using the laser electrospinning (LES) process. LES is a solvent-free process, so it has the advantage of being safe for medical and hygienic applications, as it places a low burden on the environment and there is no concern about residual solvents.
In addition, through research into functional materials that utilize natural resources that contribute to carbon neutrality, we create opportunities and spaces to consider modern issues.
